Unable to verify subscription status when trying to open Lightroom Classic in Windows 10

I am getting an error that says "We can't verify your subscription status" when I try to open Lightroom Classic (v10-v11 is all I can see as far as version--attempted to update today 7/3/22 but not sure if it happened).

The troubleshooter that it links me to only has instructions for Windows 7. I am using Windows 10 and the setting options are not the same.

I see previous discussions about this error but none of the solutions help me. My internet connection is fine. I did recently have a power outage and this is the first time I have tried to use Lightroom since then.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you.

Closing all Adobe apps and then sign out in the Creative Cloud app. After that please sign in.

If this doesn't help check if you can access the Adobe servers.

Do the following checks 1 through 4 at the below link under 'How to fix connection errors.' Also check your HOSTS file as described in the link below (see section "Solution 2").

Hello I have the same problem in win 11 . Has only just started doing it ,I have P/S -Bridge- and Lightroom Classic installed never had this problem before. Tried Axel Matt's suggestions nothing to change there. Have uninstalled everything and re-installed no change checked firewall allows lightroom through everything ok there. P/S and Bridge work fine. Dont know what else to do  may have to cancel my subscription and go to ON1 Photo raw.
