Unexpected error occurs when trying to update AI masks

Question

I keep getting a message that an unexpected error occurred when trying to update AI masks. I have tried a number of things and cannot figure it out. I haven't tried rebuilding the catalog as dear ol' GPT suggests because I get a doomsday warning from Lightroom when I try to. What do I do? I have generated a diagnostic report but have no clue what to do with it. HELP! Thank you :)

Can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce it?
