Unexpected error opening catalog

I have one Catalog that was working fine until this afternoon and now just displays: Unexpected error opening catalog.

I am running Windows 10 and Lightroom is fully updated. I am suspecting the LRCAT may be corrupted but no clue how to fix this.

    Hi PMphotography,

    Sorry that you're getting an error message "an unexpected error opening catalog has occurred" while opening your catalog.

    Could you pleas take a look at the steps mentioned in this article Error: 'Unexpected error opening catalog' occurs in Lightroom after Windows 10 upgrade. ​and let us know if that helps?

    I had already traded and tried the solutions in that article prior to asking for help.  All permissions were previously assigned to all users during a prior Adobe support session. This one particular catalog  is on a removable drive and the project was shared between my PC and my laptop. Once I left the studio and returned home, I could not load the catalog on my PC but I can load all other catalogs from all other projects on that same Drive.

    Can you upload a screen shot of the folder containing the Lightroom catalog that you want to open? Are all of the files associated with that catalog in that folder?
