Unexpected error opening catalog in Lightroom on macOS

My catalog that has all of my pictures, and that I have always used will not open. What is the issue?!

    Hi there,

    That should not be happening, let's make it right.

    As the catalog is not opening, could you please let us know the version of Lightroom you're using?

    I am running "8.4 Release"

    I do not see a "Repair Catalog" option in my error window (as shown in the link you shared).
