Question

Uninstaller not working; how do I proceed?

Not really a bug, but it is a technical issue: Cleaning off an old laptop I haven't used for awhile. Still on Sierra 12.6 (!) The uninstaller for Lightroom Classic is not working. I've redownloaded Creative Cloud app, but it doesn't recognize my LrC installation so there's no option to uninstall from there. I would prefer not to have to upgrade the OS (2012 MBP) first, but if that leads to the only solution, I'll do so. Suggestions? Thank you.

Have you tried the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool? If not, then please refer to https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html

Just to follow up here, I got support from a chat agent. The cleaner tool turned out to not be useful in this particular case, and they instructed me, after checking a number of things, to simply delete the app. At their recommendation I also removed Adobe-related login information within keychain access. All good now.
