Update says Classic needs to be closed

Trying to update Lightroom Classic and it keeps telling me to close Adobe Lightroom Classic. It's closed. Help.

Hey @George2349870830mz. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Lightroom Classic might not have closed, according to Creative Cloud. Try this:

 

In the Creative Cloud app, press CTRL + ALT + T (Win)  to launch Creative Cloud Troubleshooter & select 'Close Creative Cloud and related processes' > click on Go.

 

Open Task Manager (CTRL + Shift + ESC) & look for any Adobe-related processes running in the background & end those processes.


Open Creative Cloud again & try updating Lightroom Classic again.
