Updated cat V 14 gone

I updated LRC to v 14.0.1 on 10/16/24.  At that time, my catalog was updated.  About two weeks later when I signed into CREATIVE CLOUD, I was asked to sign in which never happens.  After navigating that issue and upon getting into LR, it asked me to update my v 13 cat.  i had already done that so I exited.  Now when I am able to access LR, it is showing I am using cat v 13.3 but I am running V 14.0.1.  I don't have a version 14 cat in my library either.  I wondered if maybe LR had stored it in a different library.   I'm not sure if I made any changes between using cat 14 and losing it.

What should I do since my cat v does not match my LR version?   I use Windows 10

"Now when I am able to access LR, it is showing I am using cat v 13.3 but I am running V 14.0.1."

The catalog named "cat v 13.3" is your current Lightroom Classic 14 catalog. if it weren't, then Lightroom Classic would ask you permission to upgrade it. One of the new things in Lightroom Classic 14 is that when upgrading a catalog, Lightroom Classic does not rename it. The upgrade dialog explains this, but unfortunately nobody really reads a dialog they are familiar with, so it was a bad decision of Adobe not to make this clearer with a separate dialog or something like that. There now is a new "Rename Catalog' menu for if you want to keep a version reference in the name.

LrC no longer updates the name of the catalog.  It is likely that the catalog labeled 13.3 is actually the version 14 catalog.
