Updated to v14, but not able to update PS question.

I successfully update LrC to v14 through CC, but received a message that PS v26 was not compatible with my PC.   I have to try to figure out what my next step is.

My question is:  can I still move a file from LrC v14 to edit in PS v25?

Thank you, Keith

Correct answer KR Seals

You should still be able to edit in PS 25 from LrC 14 however you should get a pop-up indicating that PS has an earlier version of Camera Raw than LrC.

LrC v14 has equivalent of Camera Raw 17 and PS v 25 has Camera Raw 16 Plug-in.

@DdeGannes Is that true for Mac? On my standby PC, an 11 year old Win 10 Intel 3930K, the Creative Cloud App will not upgrade my PS to Ver 26. It says the computer is not able to run it. I investigated and found the CPU has AVX, but not AVX2, so no PS Ver 26 is installed on that machine.

My main computer is only six years old, an Intel 8700K and runs LrC 14.0.1, PS ver 26 and ACR just fine.

In the link below are the current Adobe Photoshop System Requirements. I find it odd that you can install lrC but not PS, something is probably wrong, Does your rig meet the requirements listed??

The processor in my desktop does not have instruction extension AVX2, which PS v26 requires.
