updating revised images in book module

I created a collection for a book I want to send to Blurb.  I subsequently revised one of the photos in Photoshop, then exported a jpg to the same folder on my hard drive where the photos are stored for my book collection and gave the image the same name (overriding the previous version).  However the image is not updating in the boook module.  Is it supposed to?  If so, how do I make that happen?  If not, how do I bring in the new version?  The photo is grayed out.  Do I have to give it a different name and import it as a new file into the Collection?  Thanks.

I figurd this out - you see a small white "!" icon in the upper right corner of the image which if you click on it asks you if you want to import settings from disk or overrride as the image was changed outside of LR.  Click yes to import settings from disk if changes were made in PS as here to update the image.
