Upgrade to LR 13.1 and LR is no longer finding images on the camera card

I upgraded to LR 13.1 and can't import photos from the camera card into lightroom as it cant find any photos on the card.

 

System: 

  • IMac Apple M1 2021  16GB 
  • Sonoma 14.2

Canon RP Camera 

Card: Ultra SanDisk 32 Mb

 

It worked perfectly until a week ago. 

 

I tried two card readers and two cards and none worked.  All of which have previously worked. 

 

I have a card reader for my phone and it was able to scan and upload the photos of the cad seen in this phot which says no photos present in lightroom. 

 

This is my normal flow with LR to photograph and then upload via the card. 

 

What has happened ?

    You see that check box, include subfolders? The one you do not have checked.

    And do you notice that you are not in the folder on that memory card containing images? DCIM

      Got it. I guess it is a new layout. It just opened to correct subfolder before. thanks.
