Upload RAW files from Lightroom Classic?

Am I right in thinking it's not possible to sync RAW files from LR Classic? Lightroom CC and mobile can upload RAW files, but it seems like Classic only uploads smart previews?

I'd hoped that I could use LR Classic on my desktop PC, sync everything to Creative Cloud from there and then use Lightroom CC on my laptop when out and about. This works with the smart previews, but I'd prefer to have the full RAW available.

Thanks - it's a shame as it seems like it'd be a good way to work. And odd that all other versions of Lightroom can do it, just not Classic.
