I have lightroom Classic on my PC and am loading my images on to LRC which then connects to Lithroom icloud.  However Icloud is uploading all the images, including those I have rejected for LRC.  I need to find out how to change this or the correct procedure for uploading.  (As I am ending up with stored images in Lightroom icloud that I dont want stored.  What can i read or wathc to learn about this.

Not sure if I understand you correctly.

If you use Classic, only collections, and only the ones that you set up for synchronization are uploaded. And, it uploads a Smart Preview only.

What do you mean with icloud?

Please describe what you are trying to achieve, describe the workflow you intend to follow, so we can propose a way to get there.

Okay this is going to be slow obviously my language doesn't quyiet explain what I am oding.  Neither are the responses correct.  Firstly I am using Lightroom Classic 13.4.  I am loading my images via a card reader to Lightroom Classic. I initial will delete unwanted images and upload the rest in to Lightroom Classic, saving the images in external hardrives in my libary..  I also move the images into collections.  I am using Lightroom Version 7.5 to store my Raw images.   What is happening the photos that I "delete and don't include in the libary is also being saved to Lightroom.  I only want to save the images I am saving in the libaries.  Hope that is clearer.

You can try to write in your language (I suggest) and with the integrated translator, everyone will have the option to translate to his language.

What you write is far from clear - sorry.

  • You say you import into LrC. OK, then the originals are on your local disk and managed in Classic.
  • Then, you say that you use LR to store the RAW, which then normally stores to the cloud.

So which one is true?

I asked for information on what you are trying to achieve, as from your description it is not clear what you are trying and what your target is.

Also, please post the system information found in the help menu (use the insert photo option, don't attach files)
