Uploading photos and getting attached.  Import is grey and everything freezes?

    This normally works but everything freezes so help appreciated.

    Selected Import Photos in Lightroom Classic from card reader and got the above.  Card in not the issue but buttons wont activate.

    How do you know the card is not the issue? 

     

    Please click the little grey triangle at the bottom left, this will enlarge the Import dialog box, and show us a screen capture of that.

    The triangle doesn’t work either.  It shows 85 photos 2GB but nothing activates? I uploaded photos this way from the card last week with no issues.
