Uploading to Smugmug

Question

I'n the last couple of days I have been getting this popup message when uploading images to smugmug from Lightroom classic -

An internal error has occurred.

recordPublishedPhotoUrl - must be called after recordPublishedPhotoId

I don't understand how and why, please help.

The first thing to check is to choose File > Plug-in Manager, select Smugmug, expand the Updates panel, and click Check Now to see if there is a more recent version of the plug-in than the one you’re using.

Becasue it’s an “internal error,” it might also help to optimize the catalog (File > Optimize Catalog) in case there’s a database problem.

I just updated a Smugmug collection and got no errors. If you still get errors, try the Smugmug Help desk, because they know a lot more about their plug-in than Adobe does.
