Using histogram to adjust exposure not working

Running LR CC Classic I was able to grab the middle of the histogram tab and slide left or right to adjust exposure. Now I am unable to click anywhere on the histogram. Does anyone have a fix?

You are in the Develop Module?  (Cannot be done on the Histogram in Library View)

So do you see the central area (background grey) of the histogram change tone when you hover the cursor over the histogram? and you should see the descriptive words appear under the histogram (Exposure  -  instead of ISO & Shutter speed)
