Using Lightroom classic on multiple computer

Good afternoon,

for my workflow i need to use my lightroom classic on a mac (main) and on a PC (secondary) with same library.

i have the library stored on my internal mac hd and all my files on external hd.

The question is: can i store library and all the library folders to a cloud sync between the mac and pc? 

if i do that how i see on the secondary pc all the structure of my external hd? i always import my images on mac with smart preview so i can edit images without hd linked to my computers but i think that on the secondary computer i never see the structure of my external hd
