V14 Performance

Hi all,

I wanted to share my frustration with Lightroom Classic because I’ve been having a really tough time since Version 13. It’s been super slow for months now, and it’s making it hard to use for my photography work.

I have 64GB of RAM on my Apple Silicon device, and it used to run like a dream. But since upgrading to Version 13, it takes forever to import photos, adjust sliders, and render previews. The lag is really frustrating and is messing with my deadlines. The new version 14 is only worse.

I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it, but nothing has worked. It’s disappointing that this has been going on for so long.

If anyone else is dealing with this or has any ideas, I’d love to hear from you! I really hope Adobe is aware of the issue and is working on a fix (we know they wont). For subscription charges they're fast tough.
