Question

Ventura compatibility?

Hi

I've read the notes on here about Ventura but just wondering if anyone has had any issues with Lightroom Classic and MacOS Ventura? I've been burned once before so won't upgrade until it seems OK. It's tethering to Canon that I'd worry about as it once broke with a MacOS update.

Cheers

thedigitaldog’s post reminded me that I should have mentioned that every time a new macOS comes out, I personally wait at least several months before upgrading my production Mac to it. Same this time…I am staying on Monterey until I am sure the applications and hardware drivers I need are all working fine.

So far for me, no issues but that's hardly a recommendation to update IF you are in a production environment for the machine and under any deadline. IF you have more than one Mac, you could test the waters but again, it is simply never safe to do this on  your only production machine!

Adobe has both posted a Known Issues in Lightroom Classic help article for Ventura, and there is also a Ventura Known Issues - Please read before you upgrade your OS discussion in the Featured section of this forum, although some issues were fixed in an update, and some other problems people posted in that thread might not be tied to Ventura specifically.
