Version 12.5: masking ignored by some masking tool adjustments; only fixable by reverting to 12.4

In Lightroom 12.5: create a mask (for instance, mask the background as an AI mask). Some adjustments within the mask work properly as expected (noise, texture, sharpening). Other adjustments don't (exposure and saturation, for example) and are completely ignored by the mask - the entire image brightnes, darkens, changes saturation. (This isn't an attempt to create an exhaustive list, but these "are" examples of what's suddenly broken.)

Reverting back to 12.4 fixes this.

I'm experiencing the same thing with Lightroom Classic 12.5. The mask is being ignored for some of my adjustments and, instead, gets applied to the entire image.

As an additional note, I am running on a Mac Studio Ultra with Monterey 12.6.8

Bonjour,

Karibou

Go to the Creative Cloud app and uninstall Lightroom Classic. Then click on the three dots next to the Install button. That will give you the option to install a previous version. To solve the problem you see, you can also switch the language to English until Adobe has fixed this bug.

A video capture might help to show the problem.

Not happening with 12.5 on a MacStudio M1 Max. Can you do a screen video on this? A QuickTime screen recording is fine.

I can't reproduce it on my MBP M1 Max either, as shown in this screenshot.
