Very bad slideshow quality

Hi!
For some time now I'm having very poor quality results when generating slideshows in Lr. It all started couple of versions ago but still haven't improved so I decided to post this.
It looks as if bitrate was drastically lowered compared to what it used to be.

Here's the sample from the slideshow I created today:

...and here's one from the begining of 2018:

I'm sure you can clearly see the difference.

Both are in 1080p, both with music, the same settings 😕😕

Hi jacekolszewski

That isn't a great user experience as slideshow quality has deteriorated, we're sorry to hear about this. Let us help make it right.

Which version of Lightroom are you using? To verify the version you're using : Choose Help > System Info.

Let's start with troubleshooting the GPU usage in Lightroom. Could you please uncheck the option "use graphics processor" under Preferences> Performance menu and let us know if that helps?

For more info and further troubleshooting refer Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

Also, what is the format of the exported video slideshow?

Thanks,

Akash

Hi and thank you for your reply.
Curently I'm using Lr Classic ver.: 8.3.1
Unfortunately using or not using GPU doesn't change a thing - the results are the same, I've already tried that :/

As for the file type, both are mp4

The examples couldn't be more different. Can you show the first image example in both versions? Then we will be able to compare whether Lightroom is changing the result from the same image over time.

And can you upload / share the first image (RAW) file so we can test it as well?

I agree with that but still quality is visibly worse. I'm not able to export today's slideshow with the version of Lr I've used over a year and a half ago - I don't know which one was it.
I can however export the older footage with the latest version of Lr, here are the results.
old version of Lr:

latest version:

clearly you can see the difference in quality.

Both files video properties are more or less the same - there's no noticeable difference in bitrate.

Also here you can find RAW file you've asked about.
