video previews showing as gray in grid view of LR Classic but am able to view ...

video when I click to play. Out of 50 videos in grid view, none are visible. All are gray.

Just noticed following error message. Have not seen it before. It appears with every video preview.

LIGHTROOM HAS ENCOUNTERED PROBLEMS READING THIS VIDEO

checked out this error message on the web and am in the process of purging the video cache. hope it works. waited a few minutes but still get same results. will try restarting LR tomorrow.

Which operating system and version do you use?

Is you system up-to-date (patches, driver etc.)?

Which exact version of Lightroom do you use?

Which format do your video files are?

Do you have tried to deactivate the GPU support? -> https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html

This is actually a fairly recent development. One more thing -there is one preview that is visible. it's MVI-mp4
