Want to go back to LR 6.12 but only can find Vers. 6.0

I've just checked the new LR CC classic but I won't get an abo (don't like that)...

So I installed from Adobe download site LR 6.0. But it seems not to be possible to update to vers. 6.12

Is there any idea how to get back to the recent version of LR 6

    Hi Johnrellis,

    thanks for your answer. I just tried what you proposed, but the installer did not start (after unpacking), maybe it's 'cause ist just a patch installer? Or do I first have to uninstall LR 6.0 ?

    You need some version of LR 6 installed for the the update to install.  When you say "did not start", what precisely did you do and observe?
