Warning Message doesn't go away

I am getting a message about my disk being full and to delete things to make room. However, I can't get rid of the message window to be able to delete anything! Anyone have a trick to get rid the message so I can do what it asks?

Hi there,

Have you tried quitting Lightroom from the Activity monitor OR Task manager and see if it helps?
