Question

What is it with the small fonts?

Pet peeve. Was LR developed by a bunch of 20-somethings? The fonts are too small for my 60+ year-old eyes! I have font size set to large in Preferences>Interface. This problem occurs throughout. Develop module is terrible, the letters are gray on gray, there's not enough contrast. Library module too, casn't read the file names in the extended thumbnail. And the extensions, absurd forget it! Take a lesson from Bridge, and make these fonts so people like me can read them. My vision isn't that bad, it's 20-30 and i wear reading specs. Even the damn Preference Panel makes me squint. This is such an unnecessary mistake that has been made. At least make the font color white instead of gray, you're sacrficing readabilty for design, which is the same as bad design. If the Develop Module used tabs instead of lines you could make the font larger. Just sayin'. Please rethink this, Adobe.

I share your frustration, not as someone with poor eyesight but as a normal user who is fed up with Adobe's obsession with tiny font sizes. It's not a problem unique to LR, and it's nothing to do with your computer or settings. It pervades all of Adobe's interfaces including their website, and very much applies to the latest versions of all these things. The fact that some (not all) of their products have settings which can increase the size in certain places is no excuse, I'm afraid. Other companies like Microsoft have mostly moved on from this ridiculousness; Adobe stands out these days for its barely-clickable button elements, squashed menus, 6px fonts and so on, combined with plenty of space which could easily have accommodated more accessible UI elements. These may have made sense when most people used an 800x600 screen but absolutely do not make sense now.

I don't have your Larger and Largest options. Wish i did.

In that case, you're running an older version of Lightroom.

The current version is Lightroom Classic 9.1, available by subscription only.

The Photography plan (20 GB), costing $10 a month, also includes Photoshop.

"Thank you very much! I'm not going to mark this as the correct answer because i hope Adobe will take a long look at this problem."

LR Preferences, Interface Tab, Font Size. Pick one that works for you.
