When importing into Lightroom Classic, I can bring up the screen, but no photos. The screen is blank

Hi, I need a litle help. Suddenly, Lightroom Classic stopped letting me import photos into it. When I go through the process of importing, it brings up the screen, but no images.

I was trying to import from a memory card, but I also tried to load images from my computer to see if that worked. Neither work. It gives me no error messages, just a blank import screen (or a "include subfolders prompt). Any idea of what the problem could be? I am on a Mac Book pro with Catalina 10.15.7. and I'm using Lightroom 11.3. Nothing has changed in the days since I last succecfully imported. Everything else in the aplication works fine.
