When importing my images into Lightroom Classic, the files end up in Year Dated Folders.

I'm wondering why, when I start a new catalog, my imported images end up in Dated Folders in Lightroom Classic, not as I have them organized on my Images Folder on my hard drive.

If you want keep the actual folder organisation of your files, in LR you must import using the ADD option instaed of COPY (at the top of the import window).

That is because of the options you have chosen in the import dialog window.
