Question

Which product is better for viewing photos without having to enter edit mode

I currently am using Elements to view and edit bird photos.   Alternating between viewing and editing is cumbersome.  I have to wait several seconds for the editing program to load.  Doing this for 100 photos can take a lot of time.    It's hard to see much in the view mode because many bird photos are shot in bad light so I have to go in to edit mode to brighten the photo in order to  decide if it's worth saving.   So is there a product that has a more enhanced viewing mode will allow me to more efficiently sift through many photos with entering edit mode?   Thanks

This is a great question! I'll help you find what works for you. Elements Organizer & Photoshop does the job, as you said.

For larger workflows, Lightroom Classic has a dedicated module for viewing, sorting, cataloging, organizing & managing your photos powered by collections useful features & at the same time, the Develop module is just a click or button-press away at all times.

There are a lot of things to talk about, but I suggest you give it a try yourself & we're here for answers. Check here to get started: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/get-started.html

When you feel like you're ready for the change Lightroom Classic has support for migrating photos from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/migrate-catalog-photoshop-elements.html

Thanks!
