Question

While Syncing Edits, "saving AI settings may take some time" - slowing down my flow!

Is there any way to turn off the AI portion of syncing my edits? When I do my usual edit syncs (click my edited image, select a few more, and Sync Settings), it now pops up with this window that says "Your edits were synced, but updating AI settings may take some time." I have the option to Stop the AI sync, but I have to click it every time. It just showed up today and it's making my syncs take WAY longer. When I click Stop, my edits still sync as usual, but it's pretty annoying to have to click that extra button every time. I can't find any way to make it stop doing this. Anyone??

I'm using Mac OS Big sur, 11.7.8, Lightroom Classic version 12.4 (recently updated)

Cheers, if anyone still need assistance: It worked for me, to turn of "remove" and "HDR" settings when copy pasting.

The frustration was real, when it took over a minute to copy settings for about 10 pictures.

When I go to the copy/paste button in the bottom middle there is an icon that looks like a little gear (if an X appears just click on it and the gear will appear). I found that when I click on that and remove High Dynamic Range and Lens blur it doesnt give me the AI message

You can use Copy Settings Plug-in by @johnrellis

Download it here: https://johnrellis.com/lightroom/copysettings.htm

The Plug-in will not trigger the Ai auto update AND you will have to update the AI manually after.

This is actually a limit because Adobe has not yet allowed Plug-ins to update Ai automatically BUT in your case it will give you want.
