Version 15.0.1
Windows (25H2) all drivers, etc. up to date.
Steps:
In develop module select any image, ideally one with a plain background.
Enable Soft Proofing
Hover the mouse pointer over either icon in the top corner of the histogram to Show Monitor/Destination Gamut Warning.
Expect behaviour: Any image colours not out of gamut should not change.
Actual result: All image colours become slightly darker.

See video for example.

Hi @ShootingPixelsAndy! Thank you so much for reaching out! I understand how frustrating this must be for you. I couldn't replicate the issue on my Windows machine.

Could you share a bit more? Is this happening with certain images or all of them? When did you first notice it? Was it after an update to LrC or your operating system? Do you have the latest Studio Drivers installed for your NVIDIA GPU?

-It might help to try switching between different profiles. If just one profile is causing the darkening, then the issue is likely related to that profile. If all profiles darken on hover, it may be a rendering issue.

-Also, consider turning off the GPU in preferences to see if that changes anything. In LrC's preferences, go to Performance and select 'Off' for Use Graphics Processor.

Please let us know how it goes!

Hi @Noel Orridge
It happens with all profiles but only with the GPU enabled. I have the latest studio drivers installed, dated 14th Oct.
I only noticed by chance today when I had an image with a fairly dark background. I've done further testing with other images and it's hard to see unless you drop the exposure down a fair bit and then it becomes obvious.

Hi @ShootingPixelsAndy! Thank you for your effort!  I was able to reproduce this issue with an image that has a darker background. I've forwarded this to our team.

Thanks a bunch!
