I am unable to compare 2 or more images in survey mode. Why not? Why is this option not even available?

I still use Survey mode almost every day in Lightroom Classic. How is it not working? What is now happening if you select two or more images and enter Survey mode?

Is the command View > Survey available in the first place? If not, then some of the other replies might be correct that you might not be using Lightroom Classic.

You are likely using the cloud version of Lightroom which Adobe calls simply "Lightroom". This version of Lightroom which stores all your images in the cloud as opposed to on your local disks as Classic does misses many of the essential features you might find explained on the internet including survey mode. What you need is Lightroom Classic which has a working survey mode and can do many other things that Lightroom Cloud cannot do.

Which version of Lightroom are you using?

This tutorial is for Lightroom Classic 2022.

    Hope that helps.

Open image files in Adobe Bridge.
