Why do some images in this catalog display extremely out of date display module?

so i have this catalog. it was originally created, jeez, probably in 2010 or something....

it has been upgraded many, many times with each lightroom update.

I am wondering why some photos, which were edited many many years ago display the limited develop module sliders that existed at that time, and yet others display more modern slider controls. I am wondering if perhaps this could have somthing to do with this guess: maybe the images showing the super old develop controls were first edited many many years ago, whereas the images that show more modern develop sliders were edited years later, after the catalog had been updated after any number of lightroom updates?

Is there any way to get some of these old photos that are showing very old develop sliders to now show all the modern controls we have these days?  See screenshot. For reference, i'm on version 13.1

Thanks

It seems that the older photos doesn't have the recent process version. That has been updated over the years and existing photos in the catalog has been updated manually.

Thanks Matt! Question, will doing this properly interpret the image edits that I did way back when? That's to say, will the image still appear the same way it did when it was edited with the old process version?

Adobe try to ensure that any visual differences between process versions are kept to a minimum, but there are cases (typically heaviliy edited images) when the difference is more obvious. In these cases, you can revert to the original process version via History or fine tune the updated image so that it better matches the previous version.
