Why is the Edit In Photoshop option nw greyed out in Lightroom 6?

Hi

I am tearing my hair out at the moment. I had to re-install Lightroom 6 and PS CS6 on a new Mac. Suddenly the option to Edit in Photoshop CS6 is greyed out.

There is apparently no way to contact an actual PERSON at Adobe when a customer has major problems. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both photoshop and Lightroom. I have closed both programs, removed the plist files and then restarted both programs. I still have the problem. It was working fine prior to this.

Is there anyone here who can help or should I just bite the bullet and go and buy On1 instead?

thanks

Chris

I will bookmark that link just in case.

In the meantime I seem to have got it working, just changed a couple of things in preferences, shut down Lightroom and reopened it and suddenly I can edit in PS again. At least I can now get some work done

    cheers

    Hi callmechrisy,

Please refer the below discussion related to this issue.

LR5 - Edit In Photoshop is greyed out [was: Lightroom 5]

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks,

    Mohit
