Question

Why is the Lightroom installer not working?

I have a brand-new Macbook Pro with the most up-to-date OS, and I can’t get either Lightroom installer (CC or Classic) to respond. Clicking on them does literally nothing; they just don’t ever open up. They don’t even give me an error message, so I’m not sure what I can even do at this point. Yes, I’ve restarted my computer multiple times and even had tech support take over my computer to try to fix the issue, and nothing’s worked.

Which application are you referring to, Lightroom (cloud based) or Lightroom Classic?

What installers are you referring to? What Lightroom Classic version?

For years now, the current versions of Lightroom Classic, Lightroom and all other Adobe app are installed through a program called “Creative Cloud”. You get that from the Adobe web site and once installed on your computer you login to that app with your subscription Adobe ID and password. Then, all the apps are installed through the Creative Cloud app.
