Question

(Windows) Lightroom Radial Masks controls do not react as expected

Since this morning the radial mask tool is bugged / unusable for me.

I can place the mask initially and turn it without any problem. But once I resize it, every other click does resize it too. Turning the mask makes it bigger, dragging the center makes it bigger or smaller, depending on the direction I drag it.

I will try and reinstall lightroom since rebooting didn´t help. Does anyone have another idea?

Hi Ronald,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble with Lightroom. I'd love to help you figure this out.

Could you please share the specific version of Lightroom & the operating system you are working on? Does this happen after a series of tasks or operations? Could you share a screen recording of this behavior to better depict it?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Go to Lightroom Classic > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it to 'OFF' if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences in performance, please check this article to troubleshoot further:

If this does not help, you can also reset Lightroom Classic's preferences by following the steps in this article (prefer using method 2): (https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html)

Let us know the results,

Thanks!
