responsible for that lag? I deactivated it and now the lag is better! But maybe it's also the performance boost i changed in the nvidia control panel... Anyhow thank you so much i will report if it helps for a longer period!

Problem is i dont want other tasks to work, i only want lightroom to work...the problem is only inside lightroom. So when i render previews and try to do some little adjustments or scroll view the pics it lags....but if i open photoshop at the same time and do some stuff inside there is no lag!!! So this must be a problem of lightroom i think

Thanks but the problem is also present if it's just a small amount of pictures... like 40-120 photos. I can't work while the machine is rendering previews. The mouse starts to lag and when i do adjustments they happen 5 to 10 seconds later. Same problem when exporting. One more problem is that when i scroll through my pictures to make a selection it sometimes doesn't stop alltough i am not pressing any key! The Problem is not exisiting on my older macbook from 2012. Sure its a bit slower but there is no lag or crashing...i cant understand that...
