XMP dont import

When i use my laptop and then save all to my external harddrive I can see there are xmp there and then I import all files in to my NAS and still can see they are there but the wont show when looking at the photos I know I have edited. What is wrong?
I have LR 11.2 on both 
Have worked perfect before but not now

I had a similar experience yesterday with LrC 11.2 not reading the XMP data from a DNG file at import. This might be a bug.

Did some further testing on my system and confirm this is a repeatable issue. LrC 11.2 is not reading XMP automatically at initial import for DNG files and original raw files.

Please provide more details about what you did. What is "Save all" in the context of Lightroom Classic? Are you really importing the files into a new catalog, or importing photos into the existing catalog?

 

still can see they are there but the wont show

 

What is there? What won't show?

Sorry will do
I have all my photos in a map on laptop from that trip and also the XMP
When geting home I import that map to my NAS and the updated to existing catalog
Just does syncronise map under main map
All goes perfect but the changes doesnt appear like they use to
