XMP preset not showing in Lightroom Classic CC older mac

Question

I Can not find my imported XMP files in LR presets.My LR CC is older - 20.0.10 version,Adobe does not support my High Sierra mac 10.13.6 andMac does not do updates anymore for my fine-running iMac mid 2011. I really appreciate any help to get this sorted out.

Unless you've exported the updates to the files you will not find any XMP files mixed in with your raw files. If you converted your images to DNG and you did export your changes to your files, the xmp data is contained within the DNG format.

Otherwise, all of the xmp data is stored within the catalog file.
