Yesterday, I encountered problems with Lightroom and Photoshop freezing on my Mac with an M1 processor. Reinstalling the operating system did not resolve the issue.

no, I didn't use adobe cleaner, I just reinstalled mac os and it didn't help

did you install the adobe apps, then use the adobe cleaner, restart your computer and only then reinstall and update your os?

do a clean cc install:

uninstall the problematic apps, including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

check if the problems’ resolved.
