Z6 making Presets Pink

I just got the Z6 and shot two sessions with it. The files imported fine, but when I try to apply my presets to the photos, they are pink and wildly different. I plug my card from the camera into my Mac, select the photos into LR, then after importing they appear okay, but the second I add the preset it is messed up. I have other friends who are not having this issue with theirs. What is going wrong?

    These symptoms were fixed in LR 8.2 (the most recent version is 8.4.1).  Troubleshooting steps:

     

    1. Verify you're on LR 8.4.1 by doing Help > System Info. If you're on an earlier version, do Help > Updates.

     

    2. If you're on 8.4.1 and still getting those symptoms, then likely the presets were defined to apply the old (buggy) version of the Z 6 camera profiles. To update a preset to exclude the camera profile from the preset:

     

    a. Pick a virgin photo.

    b. Apply the preset to the photo.

    c. In the Presets panel, right click the preset and do Update With Current Settings.

    d. Check all the Settings boxes corresponding to settings that the preset changes except for Calibration (in the lower-right corner).

    e. Click Update.
