Question

2-4 seconds to transition from one photo to another.

I have an Nvidia RTX 3090 in my computer. My drivers are up-to-date, and Lightroom is incredibly slow. It takes 2-4 seconds to transition from one photo to another. Not to mention editing a photo.

    Hey, @Rob Burnhide. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. 

    Please share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

     

    Is this a personal or work (IT-managed) machine? What is the image format of the original files? Does this happen with all the images?

     

    Before going further, you must ensure all the data is backed up locally or in the cloud. You can log on to Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/3LUKpiM) to check and confirm everything is synced.
