2024 Apple Air M2 and Lightroom Photo & Video Editor Performance

Question

I'm interested in buying a 2024 Apple Air iPad M2 with 256mb upgrade, but I'd like to know if anyone has experienced just how Adobe's Lightroom Photo & Video Editor along with Photoshop Express perform on this latest Apple iPad. Would you please post your findings and/or links that would discuss their experiences and suggestions?

An M2 is a powerful processor, so photo apps tend to run well on it. I sometimes use Lightroom on an M1 iPad, and most adjustments perform well. But I can’t comment on editing large or complex files on the iPad, because I edit those on my Mac.

Photoshop Express is a relatively simple application written for smartphones, so it should perform very well on an M2-powered iPad. However, I don’t use it. Many people who use the powerful M1/M2/M4 iPads instead use the Photoshop app, which is more like Photoshop for computers than Photoshop Express.
