A1 medium size raw files converted to .dng at import and denoise issues

Some you can run through denoise and then the one right behind it willl or will not triggter the "denoise not available".   Are their file characteristics that trigger this?   Most every 7rv medium raw converted to .dng on import denoise just fine.

 

Why on the A1 will some work and some not with denoise?

The usual reason for the 'Denoise not available' message is that the file format is not compatible with denoise (i.e. the file has already been demosaiced by the camera).
