Ability to download only images of a selected folder for lightroom app

I now have lightroom on both computer and phone. I immediately dumped thousands of images onto my computer and noticed to my dismay as I opened the app that 1. It just tried to download everything onto my phone and that 2. There was no ability to only tell the phone to download one particular folder. There seems to only be the option to manually download one picture at a time.

Request: to have the ability to select an album or folder and "import pictures" such that only the content of the album or folder becomes locally accessible on the phone.

The current setup makes the lightroom phone app borderline unusable once you've tried to sync it with a computer.
