Access to Lightroom API

Hello,

I am a developer and i wanted to integrate the lighroom api - firefly service api in my application to take xmps and deliver the edited image back but I realised I couldn't access the api, it says I need to have a license to do so, I was wondering if you guys give out access to developers on some subscription or usage basis and not on some huge ETLA contracts. Please help me regarding this issue or at least suggest a better way to get around it.
