Question

Add a Person with no face in a photo

Hello all,

I'm working on converting my 20k photo library from apple photos to Lightroom for storage management.

the facial recognition software seems to be excellent -- with one flaw i can't google my way out of.

In early famly photos, my kids very often are turned away from the camera -- buried faces in legs, looking behind the person holding them, etc.

I'm not finding a way to tag them to "people" without lightroom finding a face to inquire about.  I can create a "tag" for them, but that seems redundant, vs just tagging my kids.

Another example is my daughter is a distance runner, and often my photos of her are from behind, or at a distance that her face doesn't resolve.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Sorry, it's not yet possible to manually create a face region for faces that the system hasn't been able to recognise as a face. Adding a keyword tag is all that you can do at this stage.
