Add button in Lightroom Desktop is grayed out and I cannot add new images. with Students account

The add photos button is completely greyed out, I have a license with my school that allows me to download a bunch of adobe apps, and they all work great, but adobe lightroom wont let me add any photos, which sucks because only classic works.

Educational accounts may not allow you to use cloud storage, it probably best to speak to your administrator.

Which exact version of Lightroom Desktop are you using and what is your operating system?
