"Add Photos" button is greyed out in Lightroom (App Store version on Mac)

Hi, I'm using Lightroom downloaded from the Mac App Store.
When I open the app, the "Add Photos" button is greyed out, so I can't import any images from my local drive.

I’ve already:

• Logged into my Adobe ID

I'm using macbook air M4 15.5 (24F74), and Lightroom version 8.3.1 MAS arm64 [ 20250505-2344-4fb7147 ] (May 5 2025)

Does anyone know how to fix this?
