Add photos grayed out

Not able to add photos. Even if i try add photos in any other way it tell me to click the add photos button however it is grayed out. What is going on and how do i fix it?

Sometimes I believe that can be caused by the cloud storage being full or the account being an educational or corporate license. Do any of these apply?

Also have you tried signing out of the Creatve Cloud App and back in?

Also which version of Lightroom and MacOs are you using?
