Add photos greyed out in Lightroom desktop on Windows

Acquired a photographer's plan, installed Adobe Photoshop lightroom
), but I can't add a photo to it. The add photos function is not active.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom. Would you mind sharing the version of Lightroom you're using along with the version of Windows you're working on? Have you tried to re-install Lightroom to check if that helps? If not, please try that & let us know if it helps.
