Adding photos to lightroom decreases the quality.

When I 'add photos' to lightroom (doesn't let me import them), the qualityt is way worse than before.

    Can you explain more? What file format, for a start? And what kind of changes are you seeing? 

     

    Lightroom isn't changing the image data at all when adding/importing, but there are other factors that could play a part, such as a difference in rendering of raw files or GPU display issues.
